The richly detailed embroidery that is a hallmark of Patricia Bonaldi’s designs is a rarity in Brazil, as it is now in much of the world. This kind of meticulous handwork is most often found in haute couture, one of the last bastions of such laborous artisanal techniques. It’s a perfect example of the brand’s commitment to both technical expertise and boundless imagination. Rather than outsourcing the production process to workers in other countries, Patricia established a school in her hometown of Uberlândia for the express purpose of teaching local men & women this special craft. Today, more than 300 of them are able to support their families because of the skills they have acquired. These artisans imbue each piece with their dedication and passion, understanding that even the tiniest details matter. The designs they help create are a beautiful reflection of their spirit.
